One of the most iconic buildings in Charlevoix has been recently restored to an impeccable level. Originally built in 1915 as the Blanchard Hardware Company, Inc. and later home to The Kroger Grocery and Baking Company (and then Kroger Supermarket) from the 1930s to the 1970s, The Kroger Lofts building has been restored to its original brick facade with many of its original finishes and design elements intact. Offering two retail spaces on the Bridge street level, three tastefully renovated short term rental apartments on level two, two garden level apartments that are currently undergoing renovations, and last but certainly not least–the rooftop gathering area with loungers and plunge pool, with birds eye views of Downtown Charlevoix and Round Lake.
